Wall Sculpture

I deeply love abstract art, color, and letting myself be carried away by sensations, rhythms, and textures, without trying to attribute a figurative meaning to the creation.

I let my hand and eye guide what my heart desires. But obviously, my abstract works have a foundation, a conceptual starting point, always with an invitation to “look beyond”.

The common thread of my works is that the subjects “come out of the frame”, in some series more than ever, in others less so.

Pittosculpture is an artistic technique that merges painting and sculpture, transcending the two-dimensionality of the painting to create relief or three-dimensional works that integrate color, material, and plastic forms.

It is a neologism coined to describe hybrid creations that combine pigments, three-dimensional objects, and sculptures. It is my favorite technique.

The main characteristics of this practice are: Fusion of Techniques: Integrating the paint layer onto modeled, sculpted surfaces or three-dimensional objects

Use of Materials: Exploitation of heterogeneous materials (wood, metals, resins, recycled objects) applied directly to the canvas or sculpture.

Relief: The result is a work that emerges from the wall, interacting with the light and surrounding space in a sculptural manner.
